This is a recipe that I'm sure is from the devil himself.
Originaly called Bacon Candy,
I think they should call it Devil's Delight.

I think they should call it Devil's Delight.
Thick cut salty pork bacon, dredged in brown sugar with a dose of chili powder.
So it's sweet, salty, smokey, spicy, sticky sticks of pure delight.
I know it must be from the devil because it is so evil yet comes off as so good.
What do you think?
Devil's Delight or Bacon Candy
Either way, they were a BIG hit at my party!
Served with Super Simple Pumpkin Coffeecake per request!

Bacon Candy. I made a Bacon Brittle once and it went over surprisingly well, but who doesn't love Bacon.

This looks amazing! How can you go wrong with bacon? Worth every calorie :)
ReplyDeleteI would like this so much more than chocolate covered bacon. It sounds too good!

ReplyDeleteI asked my son what he wanted for breakfast this morning and his response was, 'BACON!' I've been wanting to try this again, (I burnt it the first time, darn kids.) so I decided to give it another try.
OMG. I tried a piece while waiting for the rest to finish and had a fight with myself on the merits of saving some for the family. Wow.
Oh, and I served it for breakfast with oatmeal. That makes it healthy, right? Please don't report me :)
Wow. Sweet idea!
ReplyDeleteI don't care what you call it, but these will surely be a delight to me...
