You know what else makes me happy? This meatloaf.
Quite awhile ago, I was sent a couple of bottles of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce to review. Well, I'm ashamed to admit, it kind of got pushed to the back of the pantry. When Country Bob e-mailed to see what I thought, a little embarrassed, I dug it out. I made a meatloaf from a recipe I found on their site. It was simple enough. Pretty much like my own recipe, but this called for the All Purpose Sauce and a little flour. It also called for 12 saltines. I used a small bag of Cheddar crackers.
You can get a coupon for a free bottle of this sauce and try it yourself. I know after this meatloaf, I'll be buying myself half a case. Seriously, We liked it that much. $19.00 for six bottles plus shipping. I might even give a bottle or two away at Christmas. I'm telling you, it makes the best meatloaf.
One bowl is all you have to clean up. One bowl, that's it!
O.k. I know this picture doesn't really do it for you. But you have to trust me. This was the best. I do have to admit, it was a little mushy but that was totally my fault. One little bag of Dolphin crackers (minus the little handful I ate) is not enough to substitute for 12 saltines. But the flavor was still awesome.
I usually don't gush over meatloaf, but... I'm just saying...
You gotta trust me on me this one!

Megan, I trust you! I'll be looking into getting some of that sauce! AND I LOVE the new look for the season! Totally love it!
ReplyDeleteI hate meatloaf, mainly because my parents make it very bland (they like their meats with as little seasoning as possible - yuck!) I signed up for a free coupon so I will try this version and see if I change my mind. You'd think since I like hamburgers, I would like meatloaf.
ReplyDeleteMegan, meatloaf for me is total comfort food. I've tried various recipes just to change the taste, but always come back to the original recipe. I'd love to try this one, it sounds tasty. Thanks for the great post my friend.
ReplyDeleteMegan! I love your decorating, it sure made me happy! And that meatloaf looks like a winner too. I have to see about how to get some of that sauce I see alot of people in the blog world have been asked to try it. Do you know if they sell it in South Texas?
